The Center for Cancer and Hematologic Disease's staff is comprised of physicians, nurses, study coordinators, pharmacy and laboratory technicians, along with other experienced staff members.

Physicians

Our physician staff consists of Board Certified Medical Hematologist-Oncologists and Gynecologic Oncologists. Many of our doctors have been recognized as "Top Docs" in the field by South Jersey Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine. Our physicians have trained at some of the top facilities in the country, including Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Jefferson University, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Most of our physicians are on staff at Virtua West Jersey, Underwood Memorial Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, and Kennedy Health System. Dr. Saul is on staff at Cooper Hospital/UMC .

In case of an emergency, there is always a physician on call who has access to patient records through our electronic medical records system.

Nursing

Our Nursing staff is made up of Certified and Registered Oncology Nurses. They have extensive training and work experience in the treatment and care of cancer patients. We offer a wide variety of treatment modalities given here in the office, including IV and oral therapies. We also have acess to the latest information and therapy via computer interface with major cancer networks. Our nurses keep their knowledge current by participating in continuing education programs.

On-site Pharmacy

We are proud to be one of the few outpatient oncology facilities in our area with an on-site clinical pharmacy. All drugs are dispensed through our own in-house pharmacy staff.

We also have available investigative drugs through our Clinical Trials program.

On-site Laboratory

Having laboratories on-site in Cherry Hill as well as in our satellite offices is not only convenient for patients; it also gives us the opportunity to monitor our patients very closely. Our labs, which are staffed by certified laboratory technicians, allow our physicians to efficiently obtain test results needed in the treatment of our patients.

Teamwork

We strive to make the management of our patients' health issues as stress-free as possible. We also assist in any way we can to try to expedite imaging appointments and consultations with other offices. We have staff available on-site in our main office to help answer any billing questions, and we have a social worker available. Each department is trained to serve as part of a team to assist with all aspects of care and treatment.
